We are down to the last two full days of the holiday (26th and 27th June) and the wanting to stay had throughly kicked in, we still had a few things planned though so were determined to make the most of it.
25th June had arrived and we had arranged a lazy day with a visit to Disney Springs to do the one thing we have never been able to do at WDW or DLP due to weather or refurbishments, that one thing is go in the Aerophile.
June 24th was a day with plans to conquer, and in terms of conquering it meant conquering the 3 main mountains at Walt Disney World. These mountains all reside in Magic Kingdom and are all very different to each other.
While working out our plans before we left I made sure to input some rest days so we didn’t over do it in the parks and put a dampener on the holiday, not that I’m sure the words dampener and Disney go together.
The Florida weather hit us with a vengeance with the temperature hitting 37 degrees Celsius so it really was scorching.
This week Walt Disney World have announced the opening date for the Disney Skyliner Transportation System. This new mode of transport will start running on 29th September 2019.
The 19th was left plan free so we didn’t overdo things and boy were we glad we had it. Both of us were feeling pretty burned out from work and were still getting used to the heat and time difference.
