Last Day, Travel Home & Disney Blues

We had a bit of a lay in this morning before getting up and finishing packing.
We ate breakfast in our room, then done one final check to make sure we had everything.

We had to be out of the room by 11am, which didn’t give us a lot of time to do anything before our transfer back to the airport arrived at 1:20pm.

We took our luggage, of which there was quite a bit more than we arrived with, to reception on a luggage cart and I sat in reception with it and got comfy. Beans took the hire car back to the Wyndham hotel at Disney Springs and got an Uber back.

I then had one last look around the hotel while we waited.

Our transfer back to Orlando International Airport arrived just before 1pm, and it turned out we were the only ones being picked up, the driver said he was ready whenever we were.

Once at the airport we were the first people in the Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy queue, so when the desks opened we were checked in and bags dropped off in minutes.

We decided to get food before going through security as there was a bigger selection to choose from. I had Panda Express while Beans went for a Firehouse Sub.

Security took about 20minutes, which wasn’t too bad, however they didn’t seem to understand what the Sunflower lanyards stood for, with the security staff member just touching Beans without warning.

At the gate we were the first to be called up, and first on the plane. Having seats in Premium Economy was lovely, the extra legroom was very much needed.

As we started to taxi down the runway the Disney Blues kicked in big style.

Having left Florida where it was 26 degrees we were a little unprepared for the cold weather when we landed at Heathrow.

Until next time, TTFN, Titch
