Park day three turned out to be a short day at Animal Kingdom, Beans wasn’t feeling great but we thought we would go and see how he got on.

Currently Animal Kingdom is the only other park that has the tram running from the car park, and unlike Magic Kingdom this one does take you to the front of the park.

There were still Christmas decorations everywhere, and the park still had its Christmas Tree.

Being a RunDisney event weekend the park was really busy, and it was super hot. One of the things we’ve noticed a lot in the past at Animal Kingdom is there isn’t a lot of places to escape the sun.

We got the always needed Tree of Life picture and interacted with the 50th celebration statues. We walked towards the Lion King show but found the queue was huge when we got there so decided to walk the back route into Pandora: The World of Avatar.
On our way there we saw one of the character barges floating along, this one contained Mickey and Minnie, so we gave them a wave.

On getting into Pandora, Beans said he wasn’t feeling great so we stopped at Pongu Pongu for a refreshing Night Blossom to see if that helped.

We managed to grab an almost immediate Genie+ for Na’vi River Journey so decided to do that then head back to the hotel.

Again we ordered food to the hotel and decided to take it easy. Part of the reason for booking the extra days was so we didn’t have to push ourselves.
