Day three in Orlando was our first park day. Due to the need to reserve park days we had picked Magic Kingdom months ago.
As we had a car we drove to the park, standard parking is $25 a day which allows you into other parks parking lots for no extra charge.
Magic Kingdom is currently one of two parks that has the parking tram back.

We got the tram from the parking lot to the Ticket and Transportation Centre, where we decided to get the Ferry boat to Magic Kingdom. They now have a walkway up to the top floor of the boats, so you don’t have to go up the boat stairs.

On entering the park we headed up Main Street to the castle, wow how I’ve missed seeing it. It looks glorious in its 50th decor. We got to watch Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire on the castle stage.

First ride was my WDW favourite Haunted Mansion. Walking round to Tiki Room we saw the Country Bears on their balcony.

We then went on a 50th statue hunt, and I played with the Disney Photopass Lenses on the WDW app.

Next ride on our list was Pirates of the Caribbean, followed by Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

We got a snack in Gaston’s then headed to Carousel of Progress. Jungle Cruise, currently overlaid as Jingle Cruise, was next. Followed by the usual Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. Beans is a big Buzz fan, he gets super competitive, not that he needs to be as I am rubbish at these kind of games.

It started to rain so we jumped on the Walt Disney World Railroad and took the train around the park. I love how relaxing the train is, and I love the views from the ride around.

We decided to watch Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, the audience get to participate and submit jokes. One member of the audience gets picked to be ‘that guy’, the person who gets to be the butt of a lot of jokes. Amusingly Beans got picked as ‘that guy’, at the end of the show he got given a sticker which he was super pleased with.

Finally it was dinner time, we had Jungle Navigation Co Ltd Skipper Canteen. The meal was excellent, cast member interaction was really funny. The theming was really cool.

We were starting to get tired so decided to get the Monorail back to the Ticket and Transportation Centre, tram to the car then back to the hotel.
