Apologies this is going to be a long one. We booked 4 nights 5 days to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris. Working with parents we avoided the actual 30th Anniversary – 12th April – due to it being Easter holidays so we went as soon as we could after the holidays.

We got the 10pm ferry on 28th April from Newhaven to Dieppe, arriving in France at 3am, drove part way, stopped in an Aire for an hour nap before driving the rest of the way to DLP.

We arrived at Hotel Cheyenne at 7:55am (29th April) and checked in with no wait. We were given our passes and we’re advised we would get text when our room was ready. We went over to the concierge desk and Beans got his Priority card due to his health conditions.
We walked through Disney Village and got into Disneyland Park at 8:50am, almost immediately we saw Mickey and Minnie in their 30th outfits walking towards us on their way to the train station platform to wave at the visitors.

First ride of the day was Phantom Manor, which is my ultimate favourite ride. I love the theme of the ride, and doom buggies are the best ride vehicles ever.

We got to watch the anniversary parade Dream….and Shine Brighter! which was very colourful, with the most catchy song.

We met Darth Vader and got to ride Beans favourite ride Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.
Due to the overnight travelling we went to the hotel to crash in our room until dinner at Chuck Wagon Cafe.

30th April – We decided to start the day in Walt Disney Studios Park. I got a Premier Access for Tower of Tower due to Beans not liking going on it.
We went on Ratatouille The Adventure, stopped by the Toy Story Photo walls on route to Cars Road Trip.

We stopped at Laugh ‘N’ Go! for a Croque McQueen then headed to Disneyland Park where we met Max

We walked through Adventureland, past Skull Rock and onto Pirates of the Caribbean. We then made a quick stop at Cafe de La Brousse for Pineapple whip and a Baloo coconut-cocoa shortbread.
We then went to Frontierland Theatre to watch The Lion King – Rhythms of the Pride Lands which was epic then on the way out saw Cowboy Goofy.

We rode Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, Blanche-Neige et Les Sept Nains (Snow White) and Phantom Manor. I solo rided Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain then it was time to exit the park.
We headed to Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel for Cocktails in Skyline Bar followed by dinner in Downtown Restaurant.

1st May – Today was a Disneyland Park day. Taking in the sights and relaxing.
We rode Phantom Manor, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, Star Tours l’adventure continue and Peter Pans flight.
We walked around the Gardens of Wonder in Central Plaza, then watched Disney D-Light and Illuminations.

We then closed down the park with photos on Main Street U.S.A.

2nd May – Back to Disneyland Park where we rode Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast and Phantom Manor. I got a Premier Access for Big Thunder Mountain.

We got a spot by Smallworld to watch Disney Stars on Parade.

Dinner was in Plaza Gardens where we met Goofy, Tigger, Pluto, Mickey and Donald.

3rd May was our final day and we chose to go to Walt Disney Studios Park.

We rode Cars Road Trip and Ratatouille The Adventure and had a late lunch at Bistrot Chez Remy,

Then it was back to the car and back to Dieppe for the overnight ferry home. We got a room on the ferry and has a nice sleep before the final leg from Newhaven to home.
