This happened to be my birthday.
We had an 8:30 reservation at the Super Hero Station, an exclusive character meet for people staying in the Marvel hotel. We got to meet Spider-Man, who put us through our paces, then we took pictures of each other at all the stations set out.

It was then breakfast time in the Empire State lounge, again buffet style, away from everyone not staying in the club rooms.
Into Disneyland park again today where we met Piglet and Rabbit at the bottom of Main Street U.S.A., a Quick Look in Floras to see what exclusive items they had, there were some gorgeous yellow Minnie ears as well as a tote bag in a range called Pièces Jaunes, which were raising money for the French children and adolescent hospital.
Then it was time for a sunny castle picture, followed by a visit to the dragon under the castle.
We sat and watched people riding Le Carrousel de Lancelot, before looking around the shops on route to rideIt’s a small world. Everything looked really fresh and vibrant.
We continued round to Discoveryland for a ride on Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, unfortunately for Beans his gun didn’t seem to be working properly, so I actually beat him, which is a rare feat.

A trip on Star Tours is always a must do, which after that we decided to wander a bit more before heading back through the village, via a Starbucks stop off for coffee, then back to the hotel to get ready for dinner.
Dinner was a character affair, we had a 7:30 reservation at Royal Banquet, another buffet meal, with the added bonus of being visited by characters.
The range of food was amazing, huge amount of starters, main, fish, including lobster, and desserts. Not to mention the cocktails!
We could see the drones over the castle from our table.
We were visited by Sir Mickey, Princess Minnie, and squires Goofy and Pluto.
Having seen all the themed desserts I struggled to pick just one or two, so rather filled my plate, only to sit down with them to have the staff members appearing singing happy birthday with a Mickey cake. The cake was lovely, more mousse than cake, and thankfully not too rich.

After dinner we happened across Cinderella and Aurora heading to La Table de Lumière.
A visit to the hotel boutique saw me come away with a new Pandora bead, and some Minnie ears that you can hang on a Christmas tree.
Then it was back to our hotel for a good nights sleep.
