We decided to have a slightly later start today, once we were up and out we headed into California Adventure.
We walked up Buena Vista Street and turned into Hollywood Land. Minnie was walking past looking glamorous in pink spots with tassels and a pink hat. She still had her yellow shoes on.
To help celebrate the 70th anniversary had some bubbles, Mickey pretzel, tacos and burritos, all of which were delicious, I especially liked the bubbles. You get to keep the glasses too.

Then we decided it was time to ride Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! This ride is so nice, the theming is good, it really shows the story of the film. Sadly we heard it will soon be going and replaced with an Avatar themed area.
Having exited the ride we wandered through Disney Animation where an artist was drawing which was really interesting to watch, we could have easily stood for hours watching him draw away.

Next stop on our trek around the park was Avengers Campus, where I took on the adventure of Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! Saving the Guardians was a first for me, loved not knowing what drops were to come.
I really loved the surprise of this version having ridden Tower of Terror in both Paris and Orlando.
Kit was lucky enough to meet The Marvels in the Ancient Sanctum with no wait to meet them, they were very chatty, clearly no mission looming so they had a bit of free time.
Feeling like we needed some refreshment we stopped at Pym Tasting Labs for cocktails. There were a fantastic range of cocktails to choose from which made it hard to pick just one each.

After our cocktails we went for round 2 on Web Slingers, thankfully we scored better than the first time. We had good teammates who were definitely throwing them selves into the web slinging like we were.
As it was getting late we went towards the back of the park where seeing the wheel of Pixar Pal-A-Round and Incredicoaster lit up was definitely a dream come true. I’ve seen so many pictures of it online, and seeing it in person was spectacular.
It fits in with Pixar Pier perfectly.

As it was late and dark we decided it was a good time to call it a day, on the way out of the park we stopped at Starbucks where I found my new favourite beverage – Iced Pumpkin Spiced Chai Cream latte.
We decided to get the ART bus Grand Plaza Line back to the hotel, as we both were feeling tired and thought it was worth trying out. This stops right in the hotel car park outside the lobby. Sadly this service is going to be stopped, there is no information yet as to whether there will be a replacement service.
