We got up and packed our cases ready for the return home.
As we didn’t fly until the evening we decided to go to Downtown Disney for one final walk around and lunch.
We decided on Centrico for lunch, which is probably one of the best Mexican meals I’ve ever had.
To start we shared the Guacamole, which came with tortilla chips and salsa. For main I went for the Burrito Norteno and Beans went for the Centrico Hamburger. My burrito was to die for. Probably the best burrito I’ve ever had, and that includes burritos in Mexico.

We then walked back to the hotel and chilled out in the lobby for a few hours until it was time to drive to LAX.
Having dropped the car off at the returns lot we got on the transfer bus to the terminal, where on route Beans realised he had left his backpack in the car, which had his passport in it.
I got the bus driver to radio the office, so while everyone else got off at the various departure terminals we went back round to the hire car centre.
After a few initial there is no bag in the car they finally listened to where I said it would be and found it, so we were then back on a new bus to the terminal.
Due to having Upper for our return flight we got to use the Delta One Lounge, which is an experience in itself, the food was delicious, you could drink as much as you wanted, and they had showers and massage chairs you could use.
I went with the Crispy fish tacos to start, Beans went with the Hamachi Crudo (okay I lie, I ordered the Hamachi crudo not knowing what it was, and when it came decided I didn’t want it so we swapped). Both of us chose the Steak frites for main, which we accompanied with a glass of red wine. Being a pudding fan I then had the Ice cream sundae for dessert.

Getting on the plane and going to the Upper section felt surreal, something I definitely want to do again.
The staff were very attentive, they gave you pajamas, the seat changed into a bed so could lay down to sleep. I enjoyed the bubbles on arrival to my seat, felt like such a luxury.

The only thing I didn’t like was not being next to Beans, as he was in a different aisle to me, which when we originally booked our plane was going to be an Airbus and we had adjoining middle pods booked, the plane was then switch to a Dreamliner we we didn’t get to be next to each other. Would definitely try again and hope for the Airbus.
Beans had a famous pod mate – Colin Hanks, Tom Hanks son, he tried to steal my lightsaber.
Until our next adventure, TTFN, Titch
